The Consumer Electronics Association did us all a favor by reducing the fee for its annual Winter Retreat: only $249!
The catch: the event takes place at the priciest venue ever -- the Four Seasons in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
A hotel room is $495 + $30 "resort fee" + $40 tax for a grand total of $565 per night.
And I thought Vail and Aspen were pricey.
At least there won't be boring speeches and presentations to interfere with skiing and saunas. "The event is now almost entirely focused on networking in a casual environment."
Boss, can I go?
